CLHRF URGENT CALL TO THE LEBANESE IN DIASPORA
We appeal to the Lebanese people in Diaspora countries and draw their attention to the fact that while they should feel empathy for their own suffering people in Beirut, in the South and in every corner of Lebanon. However, that empathy should not be confused with sympathy for Hezbollah, as we see several prominent Lebanese groups, web sites and media doing.
We call on the Lebanese people everywhere to demonstrate in front of Syrian and Iranian embassies to tell them to stop supporting Hezbollah and stop shipping weapons and providing political cover for the Hezbollah Group. The only direct cause for the ongoing destruction of Lebanon is the pointless and reckless acts of Hezbollah who did not consult the Lebanese people or the Lebanese government. Its Leadership only obeyed Tehran’s and Damascus’ orders. This is treason and violates the Lebanese constitution.
